So easy to order vegan without wondering how it was cooked. The fried items (dumplings) we more greasy than I perfer but most of the food came with great spice. The ambiance was nice for midtown and the staff was plesent. The deserts were amazing (green tea float and blueberry cake!)

Yum, Go Here ASAP!! My wife chose this place at random because we were super hungry. I get crabby when Im hungry. For real. We entered around 4pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately. My wife ordered a sake sampler and a spicy hot pot w vegan "duck." I had 2 delectable appetizers and a lovely pink cocktail made with a Korean liquor Id never tasted before. Franchias menu is totally vegan and very reasonably priced. My wife and I left the restaurant feeling so satisfied and happy!!

I loved this place! Fantastic all-vegetarian (vegan) food based loosely on a korean menu. Sister restaurant of Hangawi -- great place to go for lunch with a friend or contact. Good tea selections as well, which was nice, and they will refill often and thoughtfully. Great service -- friendly and attentive. You should definitely go here when in NYC.
