I crashed here for a few hours before going to the airport, and I was kinda surprised how nice it was. Clean and quiet, with a nice hot shower. Parking lot was full most of the time, but I never had to park somewhere else. Honestly, Id rather save money and stay here over most of the hotels Ive stayed at around San Diego (although all I really care about is the room, not the other amenities that would come with a hotel).

Decent basic room for a decent price. Staff was friendly, however no early check-in possible and no luggage room. My room was next to the street, railway and the hotel is close the airport. Would not have slept easily without earplugs. Location is very central, with the waterfront and little Italy very close by and the city center at walking distance. Ride to the airport took a measly 10 minutes.

This is the worst experience Ive ever had at a hotel. 11/18/17 this is a picture of the manager that came to clean the feces off the toilet after they asked my wife to clean it. We paid $135 for a room with feces on the toilet, a dirty shower that was stopped up, and stained sheets on the mattress. When we asked for a refund they only refunded us $101 and when we got to our room at the Sheraton we received a notification on our phones that Marina Inn and Suites made an unauthorized transaction on our account for $35. So we had to go back to speak to the manager on the next day on 11/19/17 and they were saying that they were refunding our money but kept making transactions against our account. They took another$64 from our account and we had to cancel our debit cards after we called the bank and they reversed the transactions. The reason we had to cancel our debit cards is because the bank representative we talk to requested us to do so because they kept making transactions against our account. Do not stay here! You will regret it. This is no star hotel!!!

Everyday we had to get new key cards for our rooms. Every morning there was construction right outside our window that was loud and obnoxious. Also our window was broken. The only good thing was that the service was friendly

The location is easy to get to and close to the water but I would not recommend staying here. There was very loud construction that started early in the morning but there is nothing on the website and no information given to you at the front desk about it. The staff simply leaves a pair of ear plugs in your room. I also didn’t find the room to be very clean. The bed was fine but I went into the bathroom to wash my hands and as I was drying them, I found a few long dark hairs on the towels. I’m a blonde so I know it wasn’t me. After paying over a hundred dollars for one night, pretty disappointing.
