Clean room. Great decor if you like the style. Very unique place in a good area of Manhattan. Close to fun things like eataly and Chelsea market (if you dont mind a bit of a walk). But the hotel itsself is phenomenal. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Whenever I want to feel like a big shot creative type, I head for the lobby of the ace hotel (and crucially the stumptown adjoining). The dim lighting, the couches, the shared table, whip out your most stylish laptop, look busy or pondering and enjoy the ambiance. Also, try the toilets, first class, would ?? again!

Good lamb burger. AMAZING triple baked chips (french fries.) Theyre definitely the best chips Ive ever had to date and I bring my friends who are visiting to ACE Hotel just for the chips. The lounge is always busy. It has a nice dark bar atmosphere but with a laptop-lounge work environment spin to it. Ive never stayed in the rooms.

Review of the Lobby Bar only. Dropped in with a big group around 9pm on a Sunday night, we had to rub shoulders with both the laptop crowd and the drinks crowd, but succeeded in slowly taking over a table. Signature cocktails from the menu are $15 each, and though probably not the best Ive had, its pretty decent for a hotel bar. Recommended mostly on the strength of the laid back vibe and the old-school black-and-white photo booth (that takes Android Pay?!) in the corner.

What a fun hotel! I loved the decor! Bonus points for the fun mini fridge. The drinks in the bar were fantastic! The bar/lobby was hopping day and night with people working at the shared workspace/charging table and also with people just hanging out. I tried a bit of a room service hamburger from the hotel restaurant. I honestly have to say that burger was one of the top 10 burgers Ive had in my life! The front desk staff was very nice and extremely helpful as well. The only thing keeping my review from 5 stars is we had a serious issue with our heater in the room. The first night was really hot. By the time we woke up in the morning the temp had reached over 80 degrees (when the avg temp outside was in the 30s). We were only there one more night and the only thing they could do was open the windows until after we vacated the room. They sent a guy up right away to check it out when we reported the issue. They just couldnt fix it, or move us.
