Yes, the place is small as others have mentioned, but I went with a group of three friends, and we had a great time. Maybe its more about who you go with because we made it fun. They had some interactive things to see and do as well as placards to read. If you just walk through the museum to look and dont read anything, then maybe it wont be as good. We pretty much read most of the things, and we actually learned a little bit too. I did several things in NY and thought this was a cool little stop. If you view it as a cool stop and not a full event, maybe that would help. The tickets are a little high for what you get, but what isnt in New York? Either way, its a unique experience.

My favorite museum hands down! I have been numerous times and hate/love that it’s always changing parts of itself. And the gift shop, yes is on the expensive side. However, it’s the only place i have felt the most comfortable buying anything of that nature. This due most to the fact that not once has there been a creepy guy lurking near me, watching me as I try to browse. I will be visiting yet again real soon.

The museum was everything and more. I believe the exhibits were tastefully done. The staff encouraged Scott and I to use the items we were allowed to touch. I have to say it was an amazing experience. Wish the bouncy house of boobs had more air in it. But thats the only Qualm I had.

Im surprised to see the low rating, I absolutely loved this place. Tasteful exhibits, friendly and knowledgeable staff (and where else will you talk to a stranger about this kind of stuff with a 99% guarantee that they dont end up bein a creeper), and the "relief" areas are a nice touch. I wonder if anyone actually uses those... Its a bit pricey, and the gift shop isnt exactly cheap, but its an interesting, quirky experience that you can do inside of an hour and then be on your way.

Museum of Sex is awesome! My friends and I had a wonderful time this past weekend. It gets pretty crowded but everyone is there to have a great time so you dont really mind. My friend unfortunately started feeling sick and passed out while we were in line for the bouncy boobs but the management here is AMAZING! They went above and beyond to help my friend, bringing her moist towelettes, water and candy to help her feel better. Absolutely 5 stars for this place and the kind people that work here.
